This meeting is for D/deaf people. They cannot get information about mental health from anywhere else in an accessible format. This is the only opportunity in the North East to get the information and to ask questions of the speakers.
Each month we get a different speaker to talk about issues, illnesses or services that affect people’s mental health. We always ask the speaker to consider how BSL users access their service or get information.
If you want to go but don’t feel confident or don’t know how to get there please contact us at Deaflink and we will support you to attend. If you find it difficult to get to the venue please get in touch and we can look at ways to help.
The meetings are each month at Newcastle College, on a Tuesday 6.30-8.30 pm.
