NDCNewcastle Deaf Centre - Our Lady of Lourdes

When: Mondays and Thursdays - Deaf Action Group (DAG) - activities, craft sessions and computer sessions - activities have a charging fee (various prices) and click here for more details.
Thursdays - Luncheon Club - opens from 10 am for tea and coffee, there is a three course lunch at 12 noon for only £3.50 and a raffle with prize money!
Some Saturdays - Grand Bingo - click here for dates and other events. (Non-member £3)
Sunday Evenings - Social and Sports Club at 7pm-10.30pm - bar, bingo, activities, TV for sports, pool, darts, raffles. Click here for more information including indoor games.(Non-member £1)
BSL students are welcome to practice their signing on Saturday and Sunday evenings (small charge for entry - see above).

 North Tyneside HOHO - Hard-of-Hearing Organisation

Where: Holy Saviour's Church Parish Centre, King Edward Road, Tynemouth, NE30 2LD - click here for map and directions.
When: 2-3.30pm on every 2nd Wednesday of every month (except August) and 5/6 meetings on the last Thursday of the month in the year - click here for their diary.

Northumberland and District Deaf Club

Where: Cramlington Working Men's Club, Park View, Northumberland, NE23 6QJ
When: Every Thursday evenings starts at 7pm
Who for: Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people to have chats and play bingo and also hearing people who would like to learn and practice Sign Language or to find out more about the Deaf Community - click here for the poster.

South Tyneside Deaf Club

Every two weeks Friday 11am-4pm (Next is 31st August, 14th September)

Where: Blucher & District Social Club, Main West Road, Blucher, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE15 9SN.

When: Open every Wednesday at 7.30-10.30pm

There a whole range of activities to take part in such as bingo, raffles, name a football team, dominoes, draughts, chess, darts, pool, quiz's, art area/children's corner, playing cards and board games too.
